# Referral Program

GUI Bot has had a referral program active since its launch. Users who refer other users to the bot receive 20% of the fee charged from the referred users when they trade tokens using the GUI Bot.

To refer users, go to the Referrals section inside the app. There, you can generate and copy the referral link and share it with anyone you want to invite. The fee shared with the user will happen instantly, and you will see the balance increase in your wallet whenever the referred user makes a trade. The balance increase will be in $GUI tokens.

### How does the referral **bonus** work?

* User A refers User B to the GUI bot, and the referral gets recorded
* User B swaps APT to 10 million $GUI
* GUI Bot charges 0.6% as a trading fee (similar to Bonk Bot and others on TG), i.e., 60000 GUI (out of 10 million GUI)
* Out of 60000, 20% is sent to User A, i.e., 120000 GUI is sent to User A as a referral bonus
* This referral bonus fee is sent to the referrer instantly as soon as the transaction is done

If the referred user buys any other token on Aptos, the referrer gets a bonus in GUI because whatever the bonus percentage is in any token gets converted to the equivalent amount in GUI and sent to the referrer.
